Art Nouveau Exhibition
Art Nouveau is an international style of art, architecture, and applied art, especially the decorative arts, known in different languages by differentnames: Jugendstil in German, Stile Liberty in Italian, Modernisme in Catalan, etc. The style was most popular between 1890 and 1910. It was a reaction against the academic art, eclecticism and historicism of 19th century architecture and decoration.
In order to bring back Art Nouveau’s style and glamour back into the modern art world, MoMA planned an exhibition to bring back Art Nouveau, its history and style back through small glimpses. The design system consists of banner ads, poster ads, a backdrop timeline, and a book that the visitors can take with them while going through the exhibition as well as a take away souvenir.
